Guinness World Record Attempt for Largest Origami Fish Display

We plan to set a Guinness World Record for the Largest Display of Origami Fish! To do this, we need to display 1,500 origami fish. All of the fish will be displayed at the Seattle Boat Show. We will have an on-site origami artist helping teach attendees of all ages and abilities.

To accomplish this goal, we are excited to be working alongside the Bellevue Children's Academy and Willows Preparatory School. Kids of all ages will put their skills to the test and be able to display some of the most creative origami fish at the Seattle Boat Show, all while helping to break a new world record!

Who's invited and when? Anyone can build and make an origami fish throughout all days and hours of the Seattle Boat Show, January 27 - February 4.

How can I participate? Stop by the Information Booth (West Hall Booth 56) at CenturyLink Field Event Center to pickup origami paper and instructions. Or, click here for printable detailed instructions on how to make origami fish and drop it off when you come to the show.

World Record Display: We will display all of the origami fish on the red carpet Saturday 2/4, document, and announce our results at this time.
