SAILS & ALES! SIP SOME SUDS AT THE SEATTLE BOAT SHOW'S CRAFT BEER NIGHT, FEBRUARY 1

What better combination than hops and props? That's what the Seattle Boat Show has on tap for its first ever Sails & Ales Craft Beer Night, February 1st, at CenturyLink Field. For the first time in the show’s 66 year history, showgoers will be able to taste and toast the very best in craft beers while shopping for the boat of their dreams or wandering the three acres of accessories exhibits. Have a thirst for an ESB and a PWC, an Amber and Avalon Pontoon, or Lager and a Larson Runabout? Sails & Ales will serve up all of the above and more during this fun evening at the Seattle Boat Show. And if that weren’t enough to make for a fabulous evening, there’s also an aerial, acrobatic show to add to the mix.

Craft Beer Lineup
The Seattle Boat Show opens at 11am on February 1st, and Sails & Ales, presented by S3 Maritime, runs 5-9pm.  Nine tasting stations will be set up throughout the indoor location at CenturyLink Field, offering craft beers from 10 different artisan breweries.  Brewery representatives will be on hand to answer questions about their beers.

Packages for Sails & Ales may be purchased online for $27 at http://www.seattleboatshow.com/buy-tickets.html.  This price includes a single adult admission to the show valid throughout the day at both locations, plus a complimentary souvenir craft beer glass* and 10 tasting tokens. Tickets for Sails & Ales will also be available at the Box Office.

Splash Lineup: The Triple Trapeze Quartet, Mermaid on Cloud Swing, Drunken Sailor

The nautical-themed performance features some of Seattle’s most talented aerialists and acrobats doing Cirque du Soleil-style aerial work and will be performed on a Corde Lisse (or rope),  a Cloud Swing and a Triple Trapeze.  There won’t be a bad seat in the house as all the boats in the West Hall will serve as viewing platforms as will the Boater’s Lounge on the mezzanine level. Splash performances are not limited to Opening Night and will be will also be held Monday –Thursday at 6:30 pm, Fridays at 7:00 pm and Saturdays and Sunday, January 27th at 3:00 pm. No performance will be held on Sunday, February 3rd. Learn more about the Splash performances and performers at: http://www.seattleboatshow.com/splash-show.html
