View Boat Show Shopping Spree Contest Rules

  1. Entrants must be 21 years or older to participate in the contest.

  2. The Seattle Boat Show is giving away seven (7) $500 shopping spree giveaways for the 2011 Seattle Boat Show that may be used on any product or service offered at the show, and one (1) grand prize shopping spree giveaway of up to $10,000* that may only be used toward the purchase of a boat at the show. The $500 giveaway winners will be announced each Friday leading up to the show beginning December 10, 2010 and concluding on opening day of January 21, 2011.
    • Note - The amount of the grand prize award is dependant upon which brand of boat the grand prize winner selects to purchase. A guaranteed $5,000 is awarded toward the purchase of ANY boat in the show. Additional grand prize monies are awarded for the following brands:
      • Bayliner Boats ($5,000 guaranteed award, plus $5,000 award from Bayliner Boats = $10,000 award)
      • Fathom Yachts ($5,000 guaranteed award, plus $5,000 award from Fathom Yachts = $10,000 award)
      • Mastercraft Boats ($5,000 guaranteed award, plus $5,000 award from Mastercraft Boats = $10,000 award)
      • Smokercraft Boats ($5,000 guaranteed award, plus $5,000 award from Smokercraft Boats = $10,000 award)

  3. To be entered in the contest, a person must begin following the Seattle Boat Show Fan Page on Facebook (http://facebook.seattleboatshow.com)

  4. The contest winners will be selected at random from the collective pool of fans and followers on Facebook. Once a person is selected as a winner for any of the weekly $500 giveaways, and if that person elects to receive the giveaway prize, they are ineligible to be selected as the winner of the grand prize. The Seattle Boat Show will make the final determination of the winner.

  5. The shopping spree giveaways are eligible for use at all show exhibitors at either Qwest Field Event Center or South Lake Union within the dates of the 2011 Seattle Boat Show, January 21 – January 30. Any shopping spree dollars that are un-spent at the conclusion of the 2011 Seattle Boat Show will be forfeit.

  6. No purchase necessary.

  7. Subject to state laws, the contest is open to all legal residents of the United States except for employees and their families of the Northwest Marine Trade Association, Northwest Yacht Brokers Association and their affiliates and their dependents. In addition, employees of any participating contest sponsor, their affiliates and their dependents are not eligible to enter/win.

  8. The winner will receive a winner’s release form from the Seattle Boat Show and he/she will be subject to the conditions outlined on the acknowledgement form.

  9. By accepting the prize, the winner releases the Seattle Boat Show and all sponsors/participants from any/all physical liabilities resulting in injury or death.

  10. Winner certifies he/she has read, understands and will abide by all contest rules.

  11. Winner will look solely to the manufacturer for all warranty and liability claims.

  12. By entering this contest, the winner, without limitation and without receiving additional compensation, agrees that the Seattle Boat Show can use their name, voice, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes.

  13. Prizes are not refundable for cash, non-transferable, not redeemable in cash.

  14. Any related taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Winner may be issued an IRS 1099 for the prize.

  15. The winner will be contacted directly through the social media website Facebook.com through the account they used to enter to win the giveaway contest. If the winner has not responded and turned in the winners acceptance form within 3 business days from the date of the drawing, the Northwest Marine Trade Association will select an alternative winner to accept the prize.

  16. The Seattle Boat Show reserves the right to modify rules at anytime and or discontinue any contest at any time.

  17. All contestants hereby agree to indemnify and save harmless the Seattle Boat Show and the Northwest Marine Trade Association from any claims arising from their participation in the contest.
